Bilawal Bhutto-led delegation arrives in UK following successful US trip

After a successful trip to the United States in the past week, the high-level Pakistani delegation led by former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto has arrived in London, United Kingdom, to highlight the Indian aggression against Pakistan.

The delegation also included Hina Rabbani Khar, Senator Sherry Rehman, Dr Musadik Malik, Khurram Dastgir Khan, Jalil Abbas Jilani, Tehmina Janjua, Bushra Anjum Butt and Syed Faisal Subzwari.

Bilawal Bhutto led the frontlines of Pakistan’s diplomacy following Indian aggression, which dangerously brought India and Pakistan close to a full-fledged war.

Bilawal Bhutto was involved in more than 50 meetings over five days to present the truth behind instability in South Asia and highlight India’s undue aggression inspired by Hindutva extremist ideology.

The Pakistani delegation met with multiple US lawmakers over the last week, as Sherry Rehman stated, “Everyone agreed that weaponisation of water was dangerous. India’s identity is becoming that of a belligerent state.”

The delegation also highlighted the Indian government’s attempt to weaponize water against Pakistan after it announced the unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty.

Last week, Hina Rabbani Khar, while speaking at the Middle East Institute, stated, “We don’t have a narrative, we have the reality to share.” She said Pakistan is not interested in propaganda but wants the world to understand ground realities.

Khar said the international community must look into India’s recent actions. These include strikes inside Pakistan and the violation of diplomatic norms.

Bilawal Bhutto also addressed the gathering. He warned that India’s actions are putting future generations of both countries at risk.

He said India’s decision to unilaterally suspend the Indus Waters Treaty is dangerous. According to him, it is illegal and can be considered a form of “hydro-terrorism.”

Bilawal said water is a basic right of people. He said India is using it as a weapon. He added that this could create permanent hostility between the two nations.
