What is hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains?
The new RAV4 is hybrid only, and as such, all versions of the car use a combination of a gas engine and an electric motor to power the vehicle. You don’t have to make the choice of gasoline or electricity. It uses both in a clever way to save gas. Some even let you plug the car in and drive short distances on pure electricity, which is great for city jaunts. This alteration makes the car more eco-friendly, uses less gasoline, and can pay for itself over time. You still gas it up when you need it but cruises more economically than an ordinary car.

2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid price in Pakistan
Toyota hasn’t officially announced the price yet, but the 2026 RAV4 is expected to start around $30,645, which is roughly PKR 85 to 90 lakhs without duties and taxes.
When it comes to Pakistan, after adding custom duties, taxes, and shipping, the total cost could go up to around PKR 1.5 crore or more, especially for the higher-end GR Sport variant, which is expected to be around $51,000 (over PKR 1.5 crore).
